Singapura 1995
Mongolia, Cina 1999
Chau Doc dan Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam 2000
Kuantan, Malaysia 2001
Ningxia, Cina 2001
Chau Doc, Vietnam 2001
Batam, Indonesia 2001
Jawa Timur/Tengah, Indonesia 2002 hingga kini

(Surah Al Hajj:37)

FMSA Monthly Lecture Series (15th August 2009)

During the golden age of knowledge, the seeking and imparting of knowledge was done in the spirit of truth, wisdom, sincerity and humility. Today, many learning institutions are corporate ‘giants’ treating their students as clients. Education and knowledge has been ‘short-changed’ into a commodity to be traded.

The social structural impact on our children, the family unit, community and the human civilization needs to be understood in light of our moral degradation, spiritual indulgences and human transgresses that make our confused world today.

How should knowledge be treated from the Islamic socio-historical perspective?

Educationist, teachers, parents and students are invited to this discourse to understand and discover the truth and uncover the half truth about the foundation of our education system.

Presenter :

Ust Asmadi Ahmad, an educationist specialising in Curriculum and Instructional Design with a 7-year experience as a principal, operator and owner of Islamic education institutions, pioneering in Integrated Islamic education.
