Project Zip! Video (shown during BRMY Camp @NACLI)

In aid of the victims of the Tsunami which struck the Indian Ocean on December 2004, FMSA sought collaboration with Saff-PERDAUS and PERGAS to undertake Project Zip!. The project made an appeal to Singaporeans to donate Ziploc bags containing several items of basic necessities and drop them at collection centres. The Ziploc bags were then directed to Aceh Indonesia.

The project was mainly manned by the youth and student community (Muslims and non-Muslims). Known as 'Youth for Humanity', these youths managed to pack some 11 000 ziplog bags containing items such as mineral water, cereals, biscuits, towels and some medication. Boxes of clothings and other aid items were also collected.
